Please note: this class will now be held online. Please contact us at info@botanicaldimensions.org with any questions.

In honor of the Summer Solstice, we will draw a plant that corresponds to the planet that rules our Sun sign in this personalized astrology-themed class.

In astrological lore, there are correspondences between plants and planets. Artist-astrologer Paetra will choose a plant for you to draw based on your own astrological chart to create a personal plant talisman.

We will draw from a combination of live plants and photos, using colored pencils and pan pastels. Some materials provided (see list below).

***At least one week in advance of the class, please email paetratauchert@gmail.com with the subject: "Astro-Botanical Illustration." Provide her with your birthdate, time of birth (ok if you don't know it), and location so that she can help you choose a plant that correlates with your ruling planet. She will source images or plants for you to work from.

This class is open to beginners and will also include a lesson on basic astro-botany.

Limited to 12 participants.

Date/time: Saturday, June 20 - 10am-3pm
